Hello, my name is Gina, and I’m so excited to be joining Wiseways!
I was born in Korea and moved to Canada three years ago. I have been working as an educator since 2008 in Korea and have been an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in Canada since 2023. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jason, and we have two amazing sons.
Raising them has been a joyful journey, and through this experience, I’ve come to truly appreciate the profound impact that caregivers have on the children they nurture. I deeply believe that every child deserves to grow up emotionally healthy and to recognize the beauty within themselves. My passion lies in making a positive impact on children's lives, and if I can inspire even one child in a meaningful way, I find great fulfillment in my work.
One of the things I love most about this field is witnessing the uniqueness of each child—their personalities, strengths, and quirks. Seeing how they come together, learn from one another, and build friendships fills me with happiness. Every day, I am reminded of the beauty in their smiles and the pure love they share, which constantly inspires me to grow as an educator. I truly feel lucky to be a part of their journey.
Outside of work, I have a deep love for nature and enjoy the quiet moments of reading. There’s nothing quite like sitting at a campsite in the summer, surrounded by the beauty of nature, with a good book in hand—it’s when I feel most at peace. I look forward to sharing many meaningful moments with everyone as we grow together!
